Dear TVIK: Generally, I find that it is the politically correct do gooder faction that associates itself with this flippant attitude towards patriotism. I dont think that you wish to associate yourself with them. lol
Being contrary for the sake of being contrary is not a sign of a disciplined mind. Somethings not clicking right. Please express an original opinion not just contradicting those of others or being provocative. This type of thinking reminds me of teenagers who love to be oppositional for its own sake. Its truly not a sign of independent thought but simply reactionary attention seeking. İt reminds me of some punk teenagers that espouse anarchy. They miss the point that true anarchy doesnt mean sımply chaos but indepedence, creativity, and freedom for the individual. Worse are those that missed the boat during their teenage years and try to apply this attitude as an adult. They crave attention and being oppositional is their way of getting it. Big Yawn.
Basically your previous posts have been of this ilk. Being provocative is simply another way of getting attention. Intellectually, ıt ıs very weak.

I think Chretien telling Bush he wouldn't support his stance in Iraq is a pretty strong opinion

Urban legend made up by some frostbitten Canadian. Backpacking cross-dressers are more likely and more admirable.

How can Canada be boring when 'You Can't Do That On Television' comes from there?

If I knew what timbits are, I might agree. Nonetheless, I do agree that I was in Eugene for too many years...

Plus I miss gravy. Pork chop gravy.
