I'm vegan and have been living in beef country for 1 month now Shocked . I can however say that I've been eating very well here as there's tons of soya products and veggie restaurants..

I've been drinking boiled tap water here in Buenos Aires, and besides this horrible cold I've had for 3 days this week I'm doing quite well. It went through my system very fast. I think the yoga helps alot!! Very Happy

Hope all are doing well in this amazing continent,
Sabine

I usually get a revolting cold within a month of arriving (to live) in a new country. I think its about getting used to new germs. Yoga is definitely a help for colds. Downward dog (or any other pose where you're upside down) flushes out the sinuses and upward dog is a great immune booster. Except for when I relocate I almost never get colds. As soon as I feel an inkling of one I increase the amount of yoga I do, and the lurgy feeling is gone within the day.

I reckon in Buenos Aires the tango would be a pretty good endorphin producing immune system booster too! Laughing
