				| I lived in southern Veracruz state last year and it did get cold during the winter. I had several blankets on my bed and was still chilly. But the winds and damp air really made the difference for me.
Now i live in Cuernavaca and it can be pretty hot during the day but is nice and cool and night, just perfect for sleeping well. I love the drier climates, so this is just right for me. I can tolerate high temperatures so much better when there's no humidity.

				| Not sure about the coolest city, but a very cool city would have to be Morelia. The annual temperature graph varies only a matter of a few degrees.
A beautiful centro and the city is not over-run with foreigners. Food is good, lots of good music places, trova-style, and surrounded by grand volcanoes. Mountains, lakes, pine trees. Cool.

Lots of get-away places for a weekend and only some 5 hours from DF should one need to quickly get somewhere else.

I like the village of Jesus del Monte, just 20 minutes into the mountains outside of Morelia centro. In fact, missing it quite a bit having made the move here to the desert city of Torreon just some few months ago.

Torreon, not cool, but well, somewhat "cool".

				| Torreon is a nice city, in a Phoenix kind of way. I would have to vote for Queretaro as the best all around climate, most of the year it is cool enough to sleep without a fan and rarely is it so cold that you can't function in the morning. A few hot days is easy to deal with as well as a few cool mornings. | |
