How many years does it take to pay it back? HCT uses that system and it took 4 years - may be different now with 3 year contracts, but they make it easier because they take it out of your final pay.
It sounds like they have compartmentalized their budget... and the salary department will not get involved with the bookkeeping of the housing department. ahhhh bureaucracy...
But, at least if you know it's coming, you can leave some money aside to take care of it.

In reference to the original question, I have a related question that perhaps someone could either confirm or deny for me, once and for all. Does the Royal Guard of Oman Technical College hire women for ESL positions?
