I feel no shame but Tokyo people do.
Around Ueno isn`t expensive, so that`s why your deal is good Slippy.
But having a newer place is nice.
Ueno has some real dirty parts, but for shopping there are some bargains and cheap izakayas as well.
I am married, and not single, so that changes everything.
Rorschach, what`s the closest train station to your place? Sounds like you got a good deal. |

| I'm 7 minutes on foot from Sone station (Takarazuka Hakyu Line). This was my preference because I like area (close to my gym, girlfriend, privates, far from work) and the location is great (Daiei, Tsutaya and Family Mart all within 500m walk). They literally have these apartments everywhere though, all you have to do is go into your local City Office and ask about them. They aren't heavily advertised but if you dig a little you'll find the right place. |
