				| As jonpernick said the going rate in Kiev is about $10/hour with no benefits at all. Any school that offers more than this can afford to be very choosy.
The top of the heap is BC and Business Academy, you then have London School and IH, none of which hire remotely as many teachers as the big schools in Moscow. There are some other schools which are OK, and more that aren't.

The plain fact is that there are too many teachers in Ukraine chasing too few jobs. It's an easier place to live than Russia and there are many teachers there for non-monetary reasons (like men with local wives or looking for one).

				| The Business Academy pays $1450-$1550 per month for 22 contact hours/week, but teachers are expected to put in a 40 hour week (lesson prep/course design etc). My question is this:Is this standard practice for schools in Ukraine, or does that explain why they pay more than other schools?
 Can anyone enlighten?
