| I have to say at least ten times a day to my students that the language of the classroom is English when they leave it they are back in their own country again . Most of us I think would agree that even that small concession is a hard one to maintain with the students . The need for a larger area not just the classroom environment seems a pretty logical step to me . Why then is it something you rarely see . I believe that a lot of our Turkish partners cannot hold a conversation in English and think only (and speak) in grammatical terms . We come up against a brick wall all the time . |
