I went to a crowded house concert in Edinburgh back in the late 80s/early 90s. it was bollox.
i only went because of a girlfriend at the time- I dumped her soon after. |

That's what B'Koy Interlang Newbies were more or less told by their DOS about all the other language schools in the area, back in the 90's.
And that we were all drunks.

The plan at Interlang is to have new students use the ET books.
However, those in the middle of a level, will finish their Cutting Edge books and then start the ET books at the next level.

| As everybody knows, Baba Alex has been informing us from time to time about the various extraordinary activities of ET in his postings as he did in his most recent one. 'What they don't tell you on the leaflets however that ET is just a money laundering operation for the Taliban and that they all the DOS's are on crack cocaine.' However, he forgets to mention one thing, a minor, unimportant detail perhaps, that the reason why the books supposedly written by ET will replace Cutting Edge/New Cutting Edge by Longman Pearson. This could be because they were/are all pirated copies, and ET didn't want this minor illegitimate activity to cause headaches for the big picture. Remember Al Capone, they got him for tax evasion, didn't they? |
