				| I've done the Mexico City or Guadalajara to LAX to Vancouver run a few times on my way back and forth. It isn't fun. The process takes forever and it really quite pointless, since you will only be flying on soon anyway. If they kept everyone within the secure area then maybe they could waive the requirement for Mexicans to have visas too. As it is, anyone can say they are flying on, and then leave the airport. As a Canadian, I haven't had any problems with immigration there, but the whole place is a headache. |

				| We had a bad experience in Dallas over Christmas as well. They were awful, switched gates on us about 4 times in an hour and then canceled the flight but didn't tell anyone. There were tornados so that was the reason for cancellation but they left a women sitting in a wheelchair while everyone evacuated (a woman found her after the evac still sitting there by herself and she didn't know when she has last eaten or gone to the bathroom!!), they were less than helpful regarding the cancellations and gate changes. One guy even told us to go back through security and talk to the ticket agents. We spent the night there after finally getting some help and I would never fly through there again. The cancellations were due to weather so I understand it wasn't their fault but a few food vouchers or something would have been nice after all the gate changing and two cancellations. We were flying American Airlines and although they are usually the cheapest, it's not worth it. The flights were horrid too. Chicago is equally disastrous and that was United. |
