I ate fish eggs last night- they were horrible. But at least they weren't poisonous. They were a light red colour, slighty smaller than a pea. I asked the waiter which fish the eggs were from. He didn't know. Can anyone help me out.

That sounds like salmon caviar to me. What are you doing eating caviar? Surely you should have asked for it covered in batter and deep fried?

I was at a Jewish wedding. Sephardics don't deep fry anything. However, I did learn that Ladino is a romance language.

Ladin is a Rhaeto-Romance language spoken in the Dolomite mountains in Italy, between the regions of Trentino-Alto Adige/S�dtirol and Veneto.

Ladino is a Romance language, derived mainly from Old Castilian (Spanish) and Hebrew.

are you sure? I was under the impression that British style fried fish (of fishh and chips) is derived from Sephardic cuisine.

no they were much darker than that- of course they might change colour when they come out of the water.
