Before Japan I lived for a bit in Bangkok and New Dehli, those places have real rainy seaons. Once I was up to my belly botton in a mixture of rain water, overspilt sewage and diluted cow dung. An absolutely lovely experience that makes the japanese rainy season appear like a spot of light rain.

Life's pretty good right now...

Just finished a nice Spring break -- made it to Thailand where my wife and I got our PADI Open Water dive cards... Gonna be looking to go diving on Izu pretty soon (hopefully by Golden Week) -- water temperature being the limiting factor.

It's nice to live in a country where you live within easy driving distance of the ocean. Smile

Got my first day back at work tomorrow, I always get stressed. A two and half month break is great, but it's so hard to go back.

It's actually a pretty funny movie though it doesn't try to be.

I'm also looking forward to Golden Week. Finally getting to Hiroshima, and with a Japanese friend who wants to make all the accomodation and travel arrangements for me. Smile

I've (camera *beep* alert) taken probably hundreds of pictures of sakura from various places at home and out of town, I really enjoy the atmosphere around places like castles at this time.

Also, Rocky Balboa is finally coming out here on the 20th. "Rocky The Final" - DEFINATELY looking forward to seeing it on the bigscreen. The Kitaro movie also looks like one to check out. Smile

It's not homoerotic...er...kinda. I thought it was very cool, but let's just say the personal trainers hired for that film would have been numerous.
