Any info on Kazakhstan International School in Almaty?Salary,accomodation etc?

I lived and worked in Almaty a few years back at TEFL for $600 a month while the local average salary seemed to be about $100 a month and the Lada/gigoly was the car of choice. A 3 bed flat cost $15000 to buy.

Now I'm told most locals under 30 can get $1000 a month. Japanese cars, Mercs, BMWs are all over the place, hardly any Ladas. 3 bed flats are over $200,000.

Oh yes, and TEFL has advanced too - my old job advertises at $800 a month. Such progress.

Almaty is beautiful though, especially if you can get out to the mountains.
