Yeah good point.

I was thinking of asking school A to give me until mid-July to make my decision. Is that asking too much? How would you word your email to them?

I have just arrived and so I'm sure my opinion won't mean much....but. It seems to me that if you have been here for 2 years you could do much better than the job you were offered in Tokyo. I was offered a similar position in Tokyo, as well as a couple of other postions outside of Tokyo in smaller cities and I have no experience in Japan.
Although the positions outside Tokyo were a bit better as far a job goes, I'm really enjoying Tokyo and want to stay here.
For me it was a decision based on location, lifestyle, etc.
Perhaps you should consider that.
Personally, teaching for me is a job just like any other, I do enjoy it at times, but living somewhere where I am able to pursue the kind of lifestyle I enjoy is very important to me. I don't ever want my job to be my life....ever. This does not mean that I don't put my all into my work or not care about growing as a teacher.....before everyone offers snide replies.
As far as what to do about job 'A'??? They can wait and if they won't then you will find something else if you want to come to Tokyo.
Good luck......I'm a Libra, so I loathe making decisions.

It doesnt sound like you are very keen to accept school A`s offer of a position. If you are not sure about it, perhaps it might be best to see if you can get an extension while you pursue other options ... my 2 cents worth ..

School C is out because they only want a female teacher.

Here are some example schedules for School A:
8 units gives you 250,000 yen per month. 1,900 yen for each extra unit.

All lessons at the school
9:15-11:30- 3 lessons
12:15-1:45- 2 lessons
3:15- 5:30- 3 lessons
7:00- 9:10 - 3 lessons
Total units- 11

10:45-1:45- 4 lessons at school
3:15-:3:55 - Paid travel unit to company
4:00-8:30- 6 lessons at company
8:30 - 9:10- Paid travel home
Total units- 12

1:00-1:40- Paid travel to Kindergarten
1:45-3:55 -3 lessons at Kindergarten
4:00-4:40- travel to company
5:30-8:30- 4 lessons at company
8:30 - 9:10- Paid travel home
Total units-10

Meanwhile, School B wants to interview on Skype (online video conference). Has anyone ever done an interview on skype before? I'm scared if it's going to work or not. Do you dress up as if you were at a normal interview?

What you've posted isn't totally clear. School A wants you to work 3 days a week? Sounds like less lessons that NOVA and all. Burn out 3 days and rest for 4...

Or is that a regular schedule, for 5 days a week. The 3rd one is the classic eikaiwa 1pm to 9pm, the 2nd one sucks and the 1st option sucks really hard.

Just wear a dress shirt, or if you a really worried about it, place the camera so they can only see you head.

My advice is to keep looking for something, and if you have to, show up in Tokyo and look for work from there.

Sorry, those are some examples of what some teachers do at school A every day. Maybe they change schedules after one week, I'm not sure.

Before school A offered a job, I was thinking of just going to Tokyo after my current job ends, rent a monthly mansion, interview by day, party by night, until I found a job.

work, sleep, work, sleep.

He/she must be raking in the money though. It's as if he/she has time to spend it.

that might be a better plan. if you were stuck working at school A, you probably wouldn't have time to look for another job, and it's not sounding like the greatest option.
