Seems a shame to waist the thread so:
A funny thing happened to me today. I went to see the doctor and he said: 'What seems to be the problem?
|
Well Doctor, I replied, I've got this terribly sore hand.
What have you been doing with your hand? he asked.
I've been chopping vegetables with it, I said.
Don't you have a tool for that? the doctor enquired.
I do, I replied, but I save that for making the doughnuts!
Keep 'em coming folks! |

| My theory is that people like Canuck are the way they are because all day they have to act all cheerful and goody-goody for their students/administrators and the only release they have is to ruin somebody's day on a forum. Sad. |
Wrong. Who are you again? You don't know what kind of person I am. You don't know what kind of life I lead. If occasionally pointing out stupidity and cracking jokes on the forum were a bad thing, there would be no one here, as everyone does it. Check my posts. I do help a lot of people, and provide accurate information.
For your information, as I pointed out, there was a misunderstanding that turned sideways and things evolved. After the hubbub, the poster apologized to me, recognized the situation as such, and we move on. FYI I was totally on topic.
As for you, you just pipe in with a cheap shot. That is sad. What did I do again? I'm both direct, helpful and knowledgeable about Japan. I get countless PMs asking for help, wanting to know if what someone said is true or just saying that they haven't laughed so hard on the forum for a long time. Yet you feel I ruin someone's day? If you're looking for a dream forum, where everyone has a smile, speaks softly, never disagrees and prances around gently, with the occasional cup of tea, I suggest www.carebears.com It wouldn't surprise me if you already frequent their forum, without having your day ruined.
Your post has no merit and your theory about me is completely wrong. Frankly it's offensive. Feel free to start your own apology thread. Feel free to ban yourself. If you wish to continue this further, and if you're more polite, I kindly suggest the PM system. |
