A uni student on my 2-3rd weekend in China(1900) said;"No, it's not that Communism didn't work, I just don't think we gave it a try.".That was a time in Beijing with no internet,if a foreigner you were Russian, and only two to four private language schools.It really seems like more than 13 years ago, seems like....50-100
