Plenty of people have good experiences with legitimate recruiters. The key here being 'legitimate' recruitment companies not just individuals who claim to be able to recruit teachers. The person that this thread is about is clearly the latter and therefore to be avoided.
Some companies for which the positive comments outweigh the negatives include New Times International, Buckland, and The China Teaching Network.
The simple reason that most people don't post about positive experiences about schools and recruiters on this forum anymore is that they get badgered for their efforts with unfounded accusations that they have a motive for making the posts that they make. It is sad that the individuals who claim to be helping newbies are actually disadvantaging them. So unfortunately you are going to have to look further afield than eslcafe for positive comments which do exist on other sites! |
