Laughing I wish! I one day aspire to have a tank-top tan, a prominent mullet and a partially completed hang-man tattoo on my arm.

He's a guy from the movie Ghost World...which I highly recommend seeing if you like offbeat humour

Actually I did see that movie while in Japan. Now I recognize the girl. I know you had a previous avatar picture from Office Space though.

Yes, I thought Lumbergh needed a vacation.

Now about your avatar...I vaguely recognize it from a movie I saw not too long ago about magic, sorcery, and short people overcoming insurmountable odds. Ah yes, Willow Wink

Just kidding. I'm a huge LOTR fan and am literally counting down the days until the next one. I hope I can find a Japanese theatre outside Tokyo or Osaka that plays it in English.

Hey, if we can't discuss your shoe size, then we aren't discussing the size of my batteries. Wink Laughing

Size matters not. Look at me, judge me by my size, do you?

Ghost World:
(Greek Store owner) "We have a great history. We invented Democracy!!!"
(Guy with the mullet) "Ya, you also invented homo's!"

I'm paraphrasing, but this is still one of the funniest lines in any movie

Nomadder, I cannot thank you enough.

I've been trying to get an avatar for months and I could never figure it out.

That makes me technologically idiotic,
and you my hero!

http://www.gamespy.com/avatars/

The cool web site, for avatars, suggested (& used) by nomadder & Wolf & others--is gone. A few words here, from the site:
"RIP
11/6/2003 6:39:16 AM Avatars Inc. is no more."

Thanks for the heads up from george61. Other possibilities, for avatars?

You could just right-click on a pic from a site, and find the URL under its properties, copy and paste that - ?
