| Dear Laska (are you from Alaska?) Not so...what you say would be true if those wonderful zealots called missionaries were not there. They come in on business visas and visitor visas and supposedly volunteer and end up trying to save the Tibetans from whatever...when the Tibetans need protection from them. Visas are checked and 3 people from Yushu, 3 teachers at my friend's school in Xining and 2 from Lhasa were all deported within days before I got there. |

Wow! That's no good. That must be pretty nerve-wracking. Were the deported teachers missionaries? Sounds like they were just innocent bystanders, no?
So what are you doing now? Maybe if you force their hand, they will do something good to convince you to stay?
