Recent research (today) has disclosed that Spanish interest in Brits goes back at least to the time of Richard the second.
I walked out of the Youth Hostel in Salamanca in search of breakfast and immediately came across the church of "Tomas Canterburiensis" apparently built in the 11th century - or whenever he was killed - right around the corner. |
