As long as there is legitimate competition in Thailand then workers can choose to work for different employers. If an employer is not offering salaries and a working environment that is comparable to other employers in the area then the workers should leave and work for the other employers in the area.
It was not that long ago when almost everyone in Europe and America were subsistance farmers. Many of the people of the world are still subsistance farmers. Good jobs for the average person is an entirely new phenomenon.
Competitive economies provide more good jobs and labor regulations are often a means to limit competition. |
