leeroy,
The picture almost made me gag. Heart attack here we come. Very Happy

The Tim Horton`s picture is great. I had a dream last night they were building one next to my house where the abandoned house sits. Sad

despite the fact we have a very high rate of heart disease in Scotland, a fairly popular dish with the young kids is deep fried mars bar.

In fact, many chip shops boast, "you bring it, we fry it". i have heard tell of twix, skittles and even polo mints falling foul to this atrocity!

Apparently parts of the States are serving up deep-fried Twinkies now.

Leeroy that was cruel. No pig products in the Gulf. Beef bacon just doesn't work

President's Choice anything. Yeah it's one of those Canadian things again. Weird-who knew we could be truly patriotic?

I would find the pictures but they would probably make me cry...
Fish and Chips
Corned Beef and Potato Pie (like my mum makes)
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard

Three of my faves which sadly aren't on the menu at my otherwise great local western bar

One piece of advice you could give them, make sure you advertise well. My friends' place is great but the location isn't so it's rarely busy. It's a bit pricey but i'm sure if more chinese knew about it.....you'd be surprised how many of them love hamburgers and french fries.

Bah, Cubans? the only people who know how to make good poutine are the Chinese occupying french fry trucks in cold eastern Canadian cities. There's a guy in Ottawa named Diamond Lou who makes the best pountine that side of Shawinigin.
