Hello there,

I'm not sure if R2T do placements in public schools because apparently its illegal for us to work at public schools??? so, I've heard.

As for paid airfare and housing, its probably worth mentioning to R2T that you would prefer something like that, and I've seen a few vacancies on www.tealit.com which do do this but it appears as if it's not that common (unless you want to go to Korea or Japan).

But I suppose, you don't get what you don't ask for.

BTW: I've just emailed (my back up plan) HESS and it looks like they can't guarantee me a job in September due to some changes which is interesting. I might try and apply to other English centres.

Any news for you guys???

I'm not sure about airfare, but my school through R2T is giving me housing... I still pay utilities, but no rent.

Hi guys,

Just wondering how your preparations for Taiwan are going if you're not already in Taiwan (that is).

Bye bye

I'm leaving the day after tomorrow, which is... crazy!

I haven't heard from him in a week, but I haven't contacted him (until yesterday, when i sent off a confirmation email) so that's not too unusual. He does seem to be the primary contact for quite a few people... perhaps you should email him again, make sure he got it. He's usually very good about getting back to you quickly.

If you've signed and faxed your contract and have your plane ticket ready, you should be ready to apply for your visa. They do them pretty quick; I express mailed mine monday, and had it by Thursday.
