It would all depend on how it was stated. If it was presented on the idea of equal pay for equal work, I would obviously have agreed. But, it is a sensitive issue.

As to the employers' problems, what they really like to find are childless teaching couples Razz preferably middle-aged. I don't think that raising the education allowances would help them if you looked at with a cost/benefit analysis... they would have a great deal more expense for a small number of new teachers. The most benefit as to hiring would be to raise the salaries to help overcome the exchange problems. This would attract more singles who are their most cost effective employees from a budgetary standpoint.
