Of course not, we all make mistakes. However, if you're an TEOSL teacher, you need to maintain standards - this includes using the correct prepositions. correct verbs and correct nouns. Minor grammar mistakes can be excused. Major ones??? We all need to improve our grammar, myself included, but standards need to be maintained.
If we make errors, our students learn those errors. They become fossilized. Nobody's perfect but some think they are and continue to insist the error is correct.

You needn't worry... the students' errors are already well-fossilized before they ever get to university level. The K-12 schools take care of that process.

The original blog was full of grammatical errors that were embarrassing. Hundreds of English teachers saw it. If it were an ordinary non-native speaker, nobody would say anthing, but a teacher? It must have disappeared for editing. Evidently someone has helped correct the grammar and syntax errors, as the language is much better now.
