Some more things to add to number #20.
20.) (TQM continued) Make your school's business more transparent by posting charts and graphs in the teachers' lounge, displaying figures and statistics on things like exam scores, student retention, growth or decline in sign-ups and re-signs, etc. Maybe also compile the results of students' surveys and let the teachers see them. This is a good form of feedback.
(You'll amazed, though, at how many Chinese managers don't use these methods even for themselves on keeping tabs of their business. They run their business based on whims, educated guessing, and hearsay through the grapevine.) |
