Good one, td. I wasn't planning on joining a lucha libre outing, but if Guy promises to dress up for it, I may change my mind!! |

That photo, the lady in the middle, is that what 'la maestra' gordillo did before becoming head of the teacher's union?
No wonder she's such a tough cookie.
Saludos to all, I've been lurking around a bit, still got some of the red dust under my fingernails... |

I think you're right. Give me a few days to look it up and I'll announce it.
Incidentally, one of my former TEFL course students was the girlfriend of an America lucha librista (?). He came in with her one day to meet before the course. Mountain of a guy he was. I think he wrastles under the name Don Corleone or something similar. |

Luchador (de lucha libre), spoken in context. |

Did your former TEFL course student dress like the three beauties in the photo you posted of lucha libre groupies (is that what they are?)? |

| My niece & nephew (aged early 20's) would be delighted, but they specified he would have to be an outdoor cat. So I guess it's no go, eh? |

That would have been cool but no, he dressed normally and turned out to be an extremely humble and gentle chap. His girlfriend however, was one of the most attractive women I've ever set eyes on. |
