The degree of serious and calculated misinformation in the previous poster's message is of a level that is almost unfathomable.
Peizheng is simply a vocational college for students who have nowhere else to go. It is not the best in China, as he intimates, and I was not aware that the previous poster had abrogated himself the right to speak for the entire public with his claim of public perception. The half-life of most foreign teachers there is remarkably short and even this year the college has decided to fire all of its long-tenured teachers from the Phillipines en masse at the end of the term.
Guangzhou proper has so many outstanding institutions of higher learning that no serious reader of this board should buy into the previous poster's attempt at malignant marketing. |

I do not seek confrontation though this clearly is what Xiao51 is in for. If it serves xiao's personal purposes I shall be the first to throw in the towel to end a dialogue that is fast going in the wrong direction. Am I entirely wrong in perceiving attempts at personal degradation by xiao51? What gives xiao the right to counter every statement I make with insinuations that I have a hidden agenda or that I deliberately misinform people? Please, quotes! No, I said I am throwing in the towel...
But not without saying that anyone who actually knows Peizheng would be in a far beter position that xiao to refute what I have said so far. Xiao has, interestingly, failed to show how she came by her 'knowledge' about Peizheng except to point out that those famous anonymous posters in "other" websites have given Peizheng a bad rating. We don't know those "other" posters nor whether they are credible. I doubt that Xiao lives in Guangzhou or in Huadu, yet she (or he as the case may be) has shown a great tendency to being partisan without actually throwing in any substantive piece of concrete information.
I know what I said and why; I have met current and ex teachers and I am seeing Peizheng students. |
