Almost always more than 1000 sq ft ---- usually more like 1500. Just depends on the age of the building (newer buildings are smaller).
It's a balancing act. The real new places in your price range will feel tiny. The older buildings will have leaks, mold, and other charming idiosyncrasies. |

I have always known more people in villas in Dubai, RAK, and AA than in AD.

| More and more HCT people are getting apartments in Dubai because of the soaring rental costs. They do try to give families with children villas but this may change - again because of the costs involved and the distances from the 2 colleges there - people might not want a villa that will mean a commute of 1hour plus in traffic.[/code] |
