I have a feelingthat some schools like to put young and beautiful (usually blonde) teachers on recruitment posters.

Personally I think good teachers can be of any age and any school that doesn't recognize that is not much of a school. The best teacher my school has had during my time here is 43 but some of the young things (22) have been pretty good too.

Don't know a darn thing about Mexican ageism.

But, Google sends me teach - English - Mexico news, stories, blogs etc., and today I read a brief piece of information about a woman who is 92 and still teaching English as a second language.

Since we're never too old to learn, why should we be too old to teach?

I hope that by the time I'm 92, I'll have enough fixed income and money in the bank that I won't have to teach any more, though it still might be fun to work on interesting translations.
