A sample of posting from _____. They tend towards the Reactionary, accusatory and hyper-sensitive. Reminds me of my first feminist uni where we were asked to use "womyn" instead of woMEN...I have a thread to that effect on here, and some MEN/FTs thought I was spelling it WRONG...ha ha! During my Masters degree(another feminist uni) some gals were talking about the local "fisherpeople"...all of whom were men.

"RIDICULOUS DOUBLE STANDARD!!!

Besides generalizing about the morals of women === what an incredible double standard you present!! -

Beyond exploitation of the bodies of women by men

"Girl" is inappropriate.

..this is about BEYOND what you think is politically correct or incorrect - it is about western male chauvinism of EFL teachers living in China.

Basically, it is an outdated, sexist attitude toward women.

Although men often talk tough and try to be masculine in the way the culture defines it -- competitive, aggressive, dominant. But underneath all that, I believe that most men yearn for something less masculine and more human, for a different way to connect to others and be in the world.

you are rude and off topic.( A common stance)

It is well known that when male ego - aggressiveness (with regard to the title of this thread - perhaps we could say "most" wars are started by men - of course, must not forget Thatcher) is criticized, or the topic of female equality is brought up, men resort to stereotyping those women as shoppers, fashion buyers, rejects, or lesbians.

All you so-called ESL "educators" are manifesting what is known in more educated environments as sexism, males chauvinism
I beg to differ. This forum is constantly treating women in this manner."(Victimization?)

Again, most posters by a huge margin are MEN,Boys,guys... Surprised
If you notice the ratios of men to womyn, that is exactly what I had predicted.
Cheers,
Willie

Actually namdak I was sort of agreeing with you about there being a high number of female FTs in China.

Male or female I've never met anyone to admit posting here.
