You'll have no problem finding A job, though it might not be with the best school / university.
Once you get some experience under your belt, 2 - 3 years, more possibilities will open up.
If you're considering TESOL as a career, you may want to consider doing an advanced diploma program, such as the Master of TESOL.
The one I'm currently enrolled in is designed to take 12 months to complete, but that's with part-time study (10 hours a week). You can finish it faster if you study more. |

no worries. when you look at the qualifications needed to work in China, you will quickly understand that a native speaker with a degree, tesol and experience are what they prefer. however, the English game here is a business which means the parents want and are paying for you, a person who speaks English and not Chinese ergo forcing their child to communicate to you in English.
In short, if you have atleast one of the afforementioned qualifications, you will have plenty of offers. my advice to you is to work for a corporate school/franchaise. if you work for an indy school, you might be cheated. if you PM me, i could give you a couple of contacts. |
