I'm not stereotyping. I lived there and been to lots of places. It's really clean compared to many other countries.

Yeah it has changed and is changing but it's still pretty filth ridden. Nice areas aside, all the construction work and the lack of good drainage and the constant pollution clouds that hover over the city qualify it as filth ridden.

I'm in a Xu Jia Hui highrise. It's a lot nicer than other parts.

Yeah but if you read the other part of my post you'll also see that I said this gives it character. I'm not Shanghai bashing.
