Sunnlover.

I think you could make it work, but would like to see your family commit to a year abroad. Really, it takes that long to settle in and get into the grove. Anything less is just a vacation.

To the OP from NZ, your case is a lot less likely to work out. Being single and having no degree. Of course nothing is impossible, and it may be worth it in terms of the "real world education" you and your children will recieve. But be prepared for it to be REALLY hard to make it work.
