Thanks for the reply Glenski. Very informative. And yes, I understand everyone's experiences are unique to them and that I shouldn't think things are all bad, but just be aware that the possibility of being bad is there.

I've always thought something along those lines. I guess some people don't really do that when they go abroad though. I think I should be able to handle any situations that arise, and in a proper manner. If not, I will seek help in the proper places.

I plan to do exactly that. I'll remember about JALT & ETJ too.
