Very good points Vikuk.
The cost of living is not as nearly as cheap or simple as these recruiters like to make it sound. Unless you want to live the life of a farmer, and live in a house with no running water for you toilet |

Remember also that Chinese inflation bites just as hard both inside and outside the cities.
And on the subject of inflation I'd like to ask Astonrecruiter - why has Aston schools, like many other English training companies - kept their wages stagnant while inflation has recently run away at a double digit rate???
Are Aston planning an inline increase of FT's wages - or maybe they're waiting for the full effects of recession and possible deflation so they have a good excuse to decrease them????
And on the subject of wage - remember its not just about how much you earn/month - but also how many hours you have to put into get that money = hourly wage rates.
Astonrecruiter - how many hours do you have to put in at an aston school to get that 6,000 - are there also office hours to include in that calculation???? |

While I wouldn't disagree with a finding that 'Guilin is nice" I am not so sanguine about this gem of wisdom: "It's cheap".
I think costs of living in Guilin are as high as any other city of that size while salaries are lower than in many. |
Expensive to visit, cheap to live in. I know from 2 years there. |
