I have been in Indo for 3 years now and generally quite happy. I think discussion over religion would be banned by Dave. Correct Dave???

MERRY CHRISTMAS

It is ironic that we can say this freely here in Indonesia, yet it is frowned upon by the PC crowd in Britain and elsewhere.

Perhaps mosques will be bulldozed to make room for malls and churches. But the malls are the churches of the Christians here in Indonesia!

Let us retire to Starbucks, Dorothy. We can discuss how truly awful things are with those pesky traditions getting in the way of our comforts.

A HAPPY SANTA'S BIRTHDAY TO YOU ALL - HO! HO! HO!

I have heard this claim before and it is just not true about Britain. I have never heard anyone frown on the wishing of a Merry Christmas, and that includes mixed schools in UK where I have recent experience and many friends. Absolute rubbish.

Some might object to you sticking it on a duck. A becak maybe? Wink

What you really mean is read the Daily Mail.

Narrow minded, right wing newspapers like the Daily Mail will tell you this is the case to further their own agenda. But it just isn't true, nowhere in the UK is it unacceptable or frowned upon to wish someone a Merry Christmas.

Don't believe right wing fear mongering media telling you these ridiculous lies.

It is more likely that Fishy owns a bebek rather than a becak.

How long have you been here? WOW!

Where exactly is the bumper on a duck to place the bumper sticker you speak of?

Hmmm....Keep digging that hole.

Mr Magoo knows a lot more about Indonesia than he lets on.

I am sure all of you knew that bebek means duck but it also means motorbike.

The first "bebek" was by Honda and the locals named it that way 'coz it looked like a (wait for it).................. duck.

People also drive around in Kijangs, personally I prefer my Kijang well done and inside me....

It is not necessary to have a bumper to use a bumper sticker.

You thought I meant stick a sticker on a duck????

WOW!

Your ignorance is truly legendary Laughing
