Without attaching the 13 page-typed complaint, readers might want to know the treatments suffered by the FTs in question included non-payment of salary for betwenn 1 and 4 months each, an unprovoked physical attack (Chinese Mgr. struck an FT 4 times during a class), descriminatory treatments regarding fees paid for extra services requested and provided, public ridicule in front of students and inferior housing if not part of the 'guangxi-gang'.
Cumulatively, BHBH owes the 4 FTs about 50,000 yuan.
Let's see this happen to you, then you can "get over it".
Simply trying to improve a BAD situation and warm innocents in the process.
Empathy Vs. Arrogance might be applicable here. |

The FT in question knew full-well that the 3 other teachers (Including another FT) present and in witness of the entire event, would support the victim FT, if he did NOT retaliate.
Additionally, anyone with more than a 15 year old mentality realsizes the moral 'high-ground' is lost as soon as violence is responded to with violence.
The tactic worked as 2 months later the Chinese Mgr. was terminated. He was also a Vice-Professor and lost his credentials.
Any retaliation by the victim FT would likely have yielded instant release, however a cooler-head resulted in the offending party being punished / FT finished their contract.
Just one of the benefits of using one's brain, instead of one's brawn.
Now all FTs in question are applying for their respective 'breach of contract payments', given all the facts cited in the brief. |
