The places just happen to be named after the same person. Would you expect there to be any connection between instutions named after Queen Victoria ? Or Vladimir Ilyich ?

Sorry, that's just silly. Yes, just because they are named after the same person does not necessarily mean they are connected, but it also doesn't mean that they are not.

Now, here is the clarification that everybody seems to need:

KFF: King Faisal Foundation (a charitable, educational, etc, foundation, run by his sons in honour of the late King Faisal)

KFS: King Faisal School, a 19 year old private school in Riyadh run by the KFF

Al Faisal University: A new (2 years old) private University in Riyadh run by the KFF (obviously, they would have preferred to named it King Faisal University, but they couldn't; see below)

KFU: King Faisal University, a 34 year old government university in Hofuf (East), with no connection to the KFF

Have to agree, do your research on the place. I worked there some years back. if I had known then what it would have been like. I would not have gone.

Dear roy_101,

" . . . this place injects poisons beyond imagination."

I'd listen to NCTBA - look what it did to him.

NCTBA, you make a great Cautionary Tale.

Regards,
John
