Hmmmm - we had 6am (loud)music Mon - Sat and an 11pm curfew. There was no way ANYONE could get in after that even by waking one of the FT's as we couldn't open the bike-locked door. Gave me confidence about getting out in a fire.....The windows were barred too so no option there. One of the FT's fell asleep in our office one night in another building then got 'kicked out' by security in that building just after 11pm. After spending an hour outside in the cold (Dalian winter nights are harsh) he had to head to the nearest internet cafe. Only foreigners were allowed in. I was also a student at the uni in a class with Chinese students who were not allowed to visit. And I was not allowed to visit them either!
Finally I got an allowance and moved out - although we had to pay 6 months up front. But it was most definitely worth it! |

| But it really depends on the school. Ask a current teacher there if you can. For me I live on campus and it is great. It's not strict at all. |
