Our intensive classes are split between two teachers (usually Mon, Tues, Fri, with one, and Wed, Thur with another) which makes for variety which, I think, both students and teachers appreciate. I'm sharing 2 intensive classes at the moment so I get to teach elementary students 3 days a week and upper intermediate 2 days. I like that arrangement.

We cover Headway elementary (or whichever other book at other levels) in 11 weeks X 5 days X 3 (45 minute) lessons. This gives sufficient time for extra activities (videos, songs etc) and regular quizzes.
