have to admit ..I have never seen a check point in China and have been overjoyed that this city did not resort to this kind of harassment....but from the breath of the Taxi drivers near bar street, I would guess that it doesnt happen often...now in Florida .. every side road .. that you took to avoid the "blue gang" would be populated with DUI seekers..in Seattle, the AA meetings madated by courts..full of the professionals plus the working class.heck I bet it was the current DUIs that account for the rapid sales of mopeds...not sure the current overly harsh laws have worked any better than when they were not enforced...

ohhhhhhhh..i'd keep it in china..there're scores of drivers under all kinda "influences"
