| Yeah, if you've paid for the airfare yourself then any reimbursement should not be taxed. If it's a payment made by the school to you then that's another matter and I guess they are entitled to 'tax' it, but as I said before ask for the evidence that the money has gone to the tax office. Never had my airfare payment taxed before. |

| For the school I am going to work at next week in China, they will tax the money they give me for airfare. It is not a reimbursement, but rather part of the salary package. |
