Yeah its probably a good sign that they're checking. Did you take any letters of recommendation with you?

The same was said to my girlfriend, apparently one of her references is on holiday. Just contact both references and ask them to reply to the email, problem sorted Wink

Maybe something has happened in their office. Did you manage to contact both of your references? Who did you interview with? I know Lars is out of the office until Friday

I went and saw my old boss on Saturday, who said she would reply to the e-mail over the weekend. AEON emailed me yesterday to say she still hadn't done it, so I provided an alternate one. She was always pretty forgetful when I worked for her, so annoying!

I interviewed with Motoko, they said in the email that nobody was in the office from Thursday evening until yesterday so maybe there is something going on to cause delays as you say Sad

Hey, i havent heard anything yet either, also got an email to say they couldnt get hold of one of my references so i gave them updated information but they havent contacted her yet anyway... this was last week so i don't really know whats going on but in their email they did mention they would be delayed in getting back to the london interviewees so i guess we'll hear something soon...hopefully...

Hey guys, they called me late last week. They said they were in the process of calling people but only after they have heard from references. You should get a call any day now.

I got a call last night at around 10pm, my signal kept going and it cut off so I went outside and stood in the rain waiting for another call Rolling Eyes

Anyway, they finally rang back and said they would like to offer me a position! The reason it took so long is purely because of the references apparently. Most likely start around October time but could be Jan next year (which I said I was fine with). I hope yours went OK too jerky.

Yeah I got an offer too, she said that it could take a while until a placement comes up. We'll just have to wait around now until that happens. Let me know when you get your placement. Good luck Tanya i'm sure you'll hear soon.

Thanks guys...i got a call the other day too and got offered a position...by the sounds of it she said the same to me as she did to you...could go out in October but could also be as late as January! anyway well done to both of you..hopefully i'll see you in Japan at some point then, let me know if you get any more news
