I would go to KSA in a heart beat if I could find a good man whilst I was there. One who would let me travel about the world alone, would do all the cooking and cleaning in the house, one who would adore me and put me on a pedestal. If you know of anyone let me know He has to be indigenous though. (NO FOREIGNERS APPLY) |

| it's funny that tonyg never posted again after finding out he wasn't going to get a gf in Saudi. He seemed really disappointed about that. I guess there's a little tonyg in all of us though lol. |

If you cannot live without the chance to rut like a crazed weasel then KSA is not really the place for you. Try Cambodia.
You might find the pay a bit lower. |

Actually, lots of men find 'girlfriends' (and even wives) in KSA. Yes, it's illegal to be with someone to whom you're not married but if you're living in a compound chances are you'll get away with it. Many of my friends met women here, and a few built long-term relationships, even marriage.
That said, KSA is by no means the place to go if your prime aim is to find a 'girlfriend'. Not only because of all the legal restrictions, but because there are simply far more men than women in the expat scene, and obviously (?) you have no chance with the local ladies. The Gulf is probably one of the few places in the ESL world which favours women in this regard. Save the 'dating' thing for your extended holidays in Thailand. |

The old joke is the middle-aged male Brit and the middle-aged female Brit on the plane to Heathrow.
Female: "How does it feel like to be poor?"
Male: "How does it feel like to be ugly?" |

Reverse the genders and substitute Eastern Asia or Eastern Europe for the Gulf and you've got the male ESL experience in one. |
