At the end of the day, you may just have to take a leap of faith. You are only looking at a 6 month stint either way, so its likely you may just have to bite the bullet and chance it. If not this contract, there will be another one which may have the same or similar issues.
I would worry a lot more about the fact you dont think you can write out lesson plans. And judging from your post, you dont have any TEFL qualification? So I think you will have to worry as much about that as worrying about other issues. Sure, 100s of people do teach without qualifications ... but its not easy. Speaking English rarely has much to do with successfully teaching English...and those first weeks in a classroom can be hard. Im making the assumption you dont have any experience .. and if that is so, its worth bearing in mind that schools and recruiters prepared to offer jobs to people with no experience or qualification, may also be prepared to offer less than professional conditions and contracts to their less than professional clients and employees. Harsh ... but true perhaps. |
