Admirably, this thread has jumped from a discussion on the vagaries of renting in a one horse town to speculation on the ascent of man in under six posts...

Wastaman, my contract's allowance for 12 days vacation every four months lends credence to your statement that I'll be on a business visa for all of the time I'm there. However, it is stated that Al Falak are paying for those flights - which begs the question, isn't it cheaper to pay for a year's work visa and one return flight a year rather than not pay for several business visas but pay for three return flights?

You know what? It's unknowable. I'm just going to suck it and see.
