Hey, quick off-topic question - is it holiday time over there? I'm trying to get a few letters of recommendation from some folks in Istanbul and Syria, but I've been met with silence on the other end (erm, this silence is out of the ordinary, not a Heck No to your rec request silence). Bayram? |

| Byz, no it isn't bayram time-- that ended around the 5th or 6th of Feb. Maybe they have a backlog? I can't think of anything Official that would stop them as things are chugging along as efficiently as possible this week... Mind you, I'm not familiar with Syrian hols so I could be mistaken. |
