Dear Sheik,
Be careful - a little ambiguity there. Female circumcision is not unknown in Islamic practice. And I very much doubt too many females prefer it.

we once had a huge snow storm in damascus and the hardliners blamed it on the jews. no kidding, it was during a khotbah in one of the mosques.
they even claim that a brand of cigarettes called 'hamrah taweeleh' which are also manufactured in southern lebanon and imported into syria have been laced with some poisonous substance by the jews.
it's in the arab/muslim hardliner's blood to blame and hate the jews when anything goes wrong at all.
just go back into the early days of islam in medina and khaybar and it's all there.
why is it so hard to get the hardliners in the arab world to do some constructive work ? cos they are too busy trying to think up a fresh conspiracy theory involving the jews.

It sometimes seems that the major industry of the Middle East is the production of conspiracy theories. If it isn't the Israelis, it's the CIA.
It is a reflection of a society where people have so little control over their lives... between an often oppressive government and religion.

Well, women circumcision is not blamed on the jews or Islam, it is blamed on tribes traditions (both Muslim and Christians) in Egypt, Sudan, and other Asian coutries. Female circumcision is not required in Islam.
In Judaism, circumcision of boys is mentioned in the Torah:
�The actual command to circumcise himself comes in the Torah after Avraham fought a successful campaign against the kings of Canaan (to free his nephew Lot who had been taken captive). It was then that God approached Avraham and said:
You shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, as a sign of the covenant between Me and you. At the age of eight days, you shall circumcise every male child born to you throughout the generations ... Bereishis 17:11-1 �

Well, this is not true, the problem is with the Zionists not the Jews as a people of book. The Zionists are occupying the land of Palestine with the help of Uncle Sam, and the Muslims all over the world are against them because of the occupation.
Zionism is a rebellion against God and treason to the Jewish people. They use the name of Israel for their Zionist state!
If one is a Zionist, one cannot be a good Jew. Full stop.
