There is nothing stopping you getting a license directly once you're in Japan.

Of course, depending on the 'why' for the revocation, you might not get a visa for Japan either, so first things first...

You might want to explain that without a valid foreign license, it will take several hundred thousand yen and many weeks of a training course.

Your odds of getting a job near a train station are fairly high if you work for a large chain eikaiwa, because that is where they often choose to set up their offices. It still does not guarantee that you will necessarily have easy access to every school branch that they may have. As for dispatch outfits, you will be expected to go to public schools, and those in the country may require a car instead. Depends on the location.
