hi there
i passed in the end: the 'HR' person was determined to push me into a Vietnam position, which I was not interested in. I would not have applied initially had the advertisementS not mentioned China. I made it clear from the outset I was applying only for China, not Vietnam or India. She seemed to think China was not an option. I was not really happy with being pushed into a country I didnt want to go to, I thought that was questionable HR practice, to be honest. Im not a backpacker, Im a professional designer.
I passed. I will look for a more suitable opportunity elsewhere.
